A new approach

I've invited brother JEB to contribute to this blog. Hopefully it will improve the quality and he has agreed to cover the north half of The State from Moscow and I am in charge of the south half from Fairview.
I appreciate all the support and concern everybody gave us over the last couple months, Thanks.
Also we are moving next weekend hopefully-the 29th or 30th. After a year of home searching finally we are gonna get our little piece of American debt... At least it's in Idaho.

A wild week with Danny Ryan!! and Co. of course...

Some may not believe this but Danny and I have matured, a little. Until this past week it had been almost a month since we'd seen each other, because of our dedication to school and the pursuit of good grades. So our energies were pent up and ready to be released. On Wednesday last week we got together and spent the afternoon wakeboarding. It was as cold as a witch's titty but funner than a barrel of monkeys. Check out his blog for further analysis and pictures.

Then because we still had some energies to diffuse on Friday we set out on an undercover mission. Nick (my wee bro) called and wanted to come chill with Sarah, me, Danny, and Betsy (he roomed with Danny last year). So we decided to go undercover to the IWA girl's choice dance and document brother JEB's date. It was a wild night and we took many pictures. We followed JEB after the date and we thought he was trying to ditch us...turns out he had no idea we were following him and he was just lost, though it did seem like he wanted to ditch us.

New pig Boy!

Alright this isn't a new pig...this was Kendra that so many of you enjoyed eating at the pig roast.

Now many of you are enjoying Derrek in your freezers, hopefully he tastes great. Sarah and I finally got our camera and computer to get along again so I can post pictures but I haven't taken any of Boy yet but just so everyone knows Laura and him should be expecting on Valentines day 2010!
While in St. George, we came across this good luck pig trinket... I now know that I and everyone who co-owns the pigs with me 'have had pig' or are very fortunate. May Laura, Boy, Derrek, Kendra, Eric, and the future litter bring all, the best of luck.
Sarah and I attended Annie and Aida while in St. George. They asked me to perform that night as Radames but I told them I wanted to sit by my wife and just enjoy the show... I'm glad I did because Baby Orval really started groovin' to the music and I was able to feel him, I would have missed it if I'd been performing.

Ghosting

Last night on Leno, Hamish and Andy from Australia launched their American Campaign for Ghosting. I quickly took to this sport and I drafted Danny to be my sole competitor. Today we started the USU ghosting league.

If you are interested in competing with us or starting your own division please let me know.

The rules are as follows, you follow an unsuspecting stranger as close as possible (I recommend 3-6 inches) without them knowing or catching you. When your target identifies you, your turn is up. Longest ghost wins. Usually this is played in a best of three format and if the third heat is reached then it is a speed ghost tiebreaker.

We didn't get any pictures but Danny did take some of me pumping him home on my bike. Next time we will get pictures for everyone's enjoyment. Top three moments included tough guy turning around and being really angry with me, chick being scared to death that Danny was following her, and the best moment was when Danny's size fourteens stepped on a young ladies flip flop and it came off thus causing her and her friend to ask "What are you doing?"

A real Life charlottes Web Story

Well to begin I am joining facebook for the next 18 days to promote The Redneck Luau. Any and all readers are invited to attend. Please see helliscold.blogspot.com for more information.

On the same lines as this, one rainy spring a piglet was purchased and named Derrek. Derrek was being prepared for a luau at the end of summer. Derrek had a good life and he made mostly good decisions. He grew fast and he grew strong. He played a lot with his piglet sister Laura. Derrek rolled in the mud and ate lots and lots of radishes. Derrek was well on his way to being the main course at a party in honor of his life. But somewhere along ways aways, someone was hoping and wishing with all their heart that Derrek could live to see a few more days. We may never know who this was but they prayed so hard that another little pig, Kendra, decided to give her life in place of Derrek. Kendra was a little bigger, but she had arthritis in her knees and she was ready to go on to a better place. So she gave herself up for a very small price and allowed Derrek to go on living until he reaches market weight and then he will fill all of our freezers with joy.

Though this tale doesn't actually include any spiders or anything by the name of Charlotte, it reminded me a lot of charlotte's web. Also next year with any luck and a good Boar to mate with Laura we may own a grand champion (like Wilbur, possibly named Wilbur) and be showing him/her at the eastern Idaho State fair in Blackfoot. Keep your fingers crossed.

I am only joining facebook because of it's immense networking ability. Do they charge people like me to use it if I am not going to be a lifer?
